Ekantika's POV
"Ekantikaaaaa!!!" I can hear his scream even in the chaos of sirens. Being in my unconscious state, all I could know is that I am in an ambulance, drenched in blood, torn clothes and he is taking me to a hospital.
When I finally thought that my life is sorted out, this incident shattered my hopes into pieces.
I wanted to call out his name but words didn't leave my throat. All the memories of our bonding came flashing.
I feel him holding my hand speaking something but before I could hear, I blanked out.
Agastya's POV
It's been freaking one & a half hour & idk wtf is going on in operation room.
I just hope she is fine. She has to be god!! She finally started loving life. You can not do this to her.
I see the doctor coming out of the room and rush towards him.
"Dr. Is she fine now?" I asked with hope
" She is fine but she is still unconscious and is not responding at all" He replied.
I stood still. Never in my life I got so demn scared! I hope she regains her consciousness... I slowly entered the room, sat beside her and held her hand.
"Bachaa" I call softly hoping she will wake up hearing this word. She loves it when I call her bacha. Hehe she is my bacha, my baby sister.
I promise you bacha I will not let those bastards even breath a single relief of sigh who are responsible for your condition! Even death will be scared of their condition, I promise you!
Mahir has already called Diksha bhabhi and Vaishali and told them everything.
I was completing the hospital formalities when I saw both of them running inside the hospital in complete stress.
"Agastya where is she?" they both asked taking deep breaths to calm themselves. I quickly signed the documents and led them towards her room.
"Still unconscious..." I spoke.
We all entered inside. Vaishali sat beside her stroking Ekantika's hair with care.
"My baby.... We are so sorry.. You went through it again..." She spoke in between her sobs.
Diksha bhabhi was in tears looking at her condition which was enough to make someone's heart tremble.
Blood and glucose drip was attached to her. Her privates part were bandaged since it was damaged. There were scratches on her body and face.
Mahir came inside. He was furious but his gaze softened looking at her condition. He went to Diksha bhabhi engulfing her in a hug.
"She will be fine soon. She is strong. Keep faith in her and God." He assured her.
I wiped my own tears and spoke, "han bhabhi meri bachi strong hai! She will get through it. I will help her." I went near Ekantika pressing a soft kiss on her forehead.
Mahir signalled me to come aside. "Lily and bhabhi aap dono yahin rukiye hum aate hain... Don't leave her alone!" I spoke and walked out of the room with Mahir.
"As you ordered, investigation has started. Once Ekantika comes to consciousness she can help with drawing the culprits face... Our cyber team is trying to find any track of any number or mobile which was active but they are not able to. They say it will take some more time." Mahir explained.
"I don't care Mahir. I need them! Alive! Doctor told that he found 2 samples of DNA so there were 2 of them and I need them both in my custody as soon as possible. Look into previous criminal records and data base. Any relative of the criminals I have punished can do this for revenge." My jaw clenched as I spoke.
"Okay but right now our focus should be on Ekantika. And you pls eat something it's been hour you have eaten anything. You need to be fine to take care of her." Mahir patted my shoulder as I nodded.
I took a deep breath and went to eat something. Then I came back to the hospital room and sat beside Ekantika.
The nurse came to change the drip followed by the doctor for her checkup. "When will she gain consciousness?" I inquired.
"It depends... The assault made an impact on her mind. Once her brain recovers a bit she will gain consciousness." The doctor replied and left with the nurse.
It is night and I am staying with Ekantika. Everyone else left since only person was allowed to stay.
~~~Next Day~~~
I woke up and and found her still laying on the bed. The nurse came to check on her and left.
I took her hands in mine. "Bachaa pls wake up... I am sorry I am really sorry I couldn't save you. Pls maaf krdo apne bhaiya ko. Pls just once wake up for me." I spoke as tears came into my eyes imagining the state I found her in.
Suddenly I felt her heart rate rise. I immediately called the doctor and they rushed in trying to calm her rising heart rate.
And after sometime her eyes opened and in a jerk, she sat up straight.
